Blend recipes · Stress relief

too zesty to need anyone

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-0646

A little sassy, needing no one. Lime and lemon jostle up front with tart green and yellow citrus, bergamot adds fragrant, slightly bitter peel, and five drops of lavender stand in the middle so the citrus trio never gets harsh. The scent is bright, independent and very confident. Good for weekend mornings cleaning the house and cooking yourself a nice meal. Citrus fades fast, so run the diffuser intermittently.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use too zesty to need anyone in a diffuser?
Add Lime 2 · Lavender 2 · Bergamot 2 · Lemon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lime?
Swap lime for sweet orange or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use too zesty to need anyone?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
