Flipping through last year's travel album, and suddenly you miss the sunshine. Three drops of lavender are soft like a field of purple flowers, bergamot and lemon add bright citrus peel, and sandalwood lines it with warm, creamy wood so the memories linger longer. Good for an evening printing photos and making a scrapbook. Run the diffuser in a small living room; in about 20 minutes the scent will have spread.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot and Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
