Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

too tired, sleeping in

3 oils · Floral · Minty · Warm spice · code BL-2751

Lavender makes up most of it and opens soft and soothing; peppermint and cinnamon follow equally, cool tingle and warm spice, balancing each other in a fun way. Good for the bedroom on lazy weekend mornings. Mix a bottle ahead and take 4 drops for the diffuser each time; if you want to keep sleeping deeply, reduce the peppermint in the bottle to 5 drops.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use too tired, sleeping in in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 4 · Peppermint 2 · Cinnamon 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use too tired, sleeping in?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
