Hanoi in early winter

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · Warm spice · code BL-2086

There's a scent of sweaters and chilly streets in this blend, like Hanoi when winter arrives. Lavender leads with a smooth floral layer, eucalyptus is cool just enough, and one drop each of cinnamon and peppermint makes it warm and alert at once. Perfect for the first winter evenings, with a pot of ginger tea and a few pages of a book. Start the diffuser 10 minutes before you enter the room so the scent spreads evenly.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use Hanoi in early winter in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 4 · Eucalyptus 3 · Cinnamon 1 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use Hanoi in early winter?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
