Blend recipes · Stress relief

too lazy to overthink

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-0705

Too lazy to worry, too lazy to overthink; three drops are enough. Clary sage, lemon and lavender get one drop each: sweet, slightly musky herb, crisp fresh peel and soft purple flowers. The scent is feather-light, good for a small desk or the nightstand. For a clearer scent in the bedroom, double all three and run the diffuser for 20 minutes before lying down.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

FAQ

How do I use too lazy to overthink in a diffuser?
Add Clary Sage 1 · Lemon 1 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of clary sage?
Swap clary sage for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use too lazy to overthink?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
