Blend recipes · Stress relief

life, slightly less annoying

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0826

When life gets a little less annoying, that's a win. Three drops of clary sage open with a sweet, slightly musky herbal note, cedarwood lays down warm, dry wood, lavender softens, and one drop of lemon sprinkles crisp fresh peel. Suits a living room or desk. Diffuse for 20 minutes; for a fresher feel add a drop of lemon, for a deeper one add a drop of cedarwood.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use life, slightly less annoying in a diffuser?
Add Clary Sage 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Lavender 2 · Lemon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of clary sage?
Swap clary sage for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use life, slightly less annoying?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
