Blend recipes · Summer fresh

tingly, chilly, cool

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2969

Eucalyptus radiata opens airy and softer than regular eucalyptus, lime is fresh, and peppermint with spearmint create a tingly, icy feeling on the last breath. Great for a bedroom on muggy nights, the car, or the home office after lunch. If it feels too minty, remove one drop of peppermint and keep the spearmint for a sweeter scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser

Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use tingly, chilly, cool in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus Radiata 3 · Lime 2 · Peppermint 2 · Spearmint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus radiata?
Swap eucalyptus radiata for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use tingly, chilly, cool?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
