thesis, chapter three

3 oils · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1323

Chapter 3 of the thesis, the part where every idea mysteriously vanishes. Ten drops of frankincense build a warm, calm resin base; thyme and rosemary follow with crisp herbs that help you keep your train of thought. Great for a late-night writing corner or a home library, where it's just you and the keyboard. This is a bottle ratio; use 5 drops at a time, and if it feels heavy, add 2 drops of lemon to the diffuser.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
