Less fake politeness, more focused work. Four drops of rosemary lead green and sharp, three drops of lemon add fresh tang, and frankincense and lemongrass, two drops each, bring warm resin and a vivid lemongrass zing. Great for an office that opens at eight. If the lemongrass feels strong, cut it to one drop and add one drop of sweet orange.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
