Lying still is an art form too. Lavender leads, frankincense and turmeric come in equal measure, warm resin meeting earthy spice, while peppermint and eucalyptus blow in an airy, cool layer. The scent is warm and cool at once, with many layers, perfect for the living room on a hot afternoon. For a small diffuser, use 2, 1, 1, 1 and 1 drops; for a warmer lean, use less peppermint.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); turmeric (warm and earthy with a little spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
