summer of IELTS prep

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1054

A summer of IELTS prep, with a vocabulary book as thick as a brick. Two drops of thyme open with warm, spicy herbs, two drops of bergamot add fresh, cool citrus, and a single drop of peppermint leaves a cold streak to keep your head clear. Great for a study desk in the morning before the sun gets harsh. Use the same recipe for every practice test, and you'll gradually settle into a rhythm.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use summer of IELTS prep in a diffuser?
Add Thyme 2 · Bergamot 2 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of thyme?
Swap thyme for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use summer of IELTS prep?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
