Wifi off, phone off, an afternoon living off the grid. Rosemary leads, green and sharp; lavender, cedarwood and bergamot come in equal measure with purple herbs, dry wood and fresh citrus, and sweet orange adds juicy sweetness. The scent is fresh and natural, like a wooden cabin in the mountains, perfect for the living room or a balcony. It's a bottle-mixing ratio; use 5 drops of the mix each time.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
