still as a village temple

4 oils · Woody · Resinous & sweet · Tea · code BL-3112

Steeped tea, po mu wood, cypress leaves and frankincense; rustic and deep.

As still as a small countryside temple: warm steeped tea, po mu wood, cypress leaves and frankincense, simple yet deep. Great for a meditation corner, a wood-toned home office or quiet Sunday mornings. Start the diffuser while you sweep up, then brew some tea and sit still for a while, with no music and no screens at all.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Black tea (steeped, warm and slightly malty); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Po Mu (sweet, resinous and slightly spicy, a very grounded Vietnamese wood); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Black Tea 3 · Po Mu 2 · Cypress 1 · Frankincense 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Black Tea 13 · Po Mu 9 · Cypress 4 · Frankincense 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use still as a village temple in a diffuser?
Add Black Tea 3 · Po Mu 2 · Cypress 1 · Frankincense 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of black tea?
Swap black tea for white tea or green tea — same tea family. The blend will shift a little: white tea is light and clean with a floral whisper.
When is the best time to use still as a village temple?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
