Warm grass, sweet anise and deep resin; sitting still without boredom.
Settling the heart and quieting the mind: warm ginger grass leads, star anise is sweet, frankincense is deep and resinous, and mandarin is lightly fresh, so you can sit still without getting bored. Great for a meditation corner, a yoga room or a cold-season evening. Start the diffuser five minutes before you sit; star anise is quite strong, so halve it in a small room.

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ginger grass (warm and grassy, slightly spicy with a sweet root note); star anise (sweet and warm, reminiscent of pho broth and Tet sweets) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
