Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

solo Christmas at home

4 oils · Citrus · Woody · Warm spice · Tea · code BL-3083

Black tea, pine needles, mandarin and anise; exactly a December living room.

A solo Christmas can still be cozy: black tea, green pine, sweet mandarin and a single drop of star anise, exactly the smell of a living room in December. Great for Christmas Eve at home, wrapping gifts or decorating the tree. Place the diffuser next to the tree, put on Christmas music and make a mug of hot cocoa.

How it unfolds

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Black tea (steeped, warm and slightly malty); pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); star anise (sweet and warm, reminiscent of pho broth and Tet sweets) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use solo Christmas at home in a diffuser?
Add Black Tea 3 · Pine 2 · Mandarin 2 · Star Anise 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of black tea?
Swap black tea for white tea or green tea — same tea family. The blend will shift a little: white tea is light and clean with a floral whisper.
When is the best time to use solo Christmas at home?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
