A slow afternoon, brewing a pot of jasmine tea. Four drops of peppermint lead icy cool, three drops of jasmine follow sweet like petals used to scent tea, and two drops of bergamot add a clean streak of citrus. This scent suits the living room or an afternoon work corner. For something closer to jasmine tea, flip it: 4 jasmine, 2 peppermint; the scent becomes less cool and softer.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
