A date with yourself deserves a scent too. Bergamot opens elegant, jasmine brings sweet allure to the middle, and sandalwood settles into a warm, creamy wood base. Cook yourself something delicious, take a longer bath than usual, then read a book: this scent goes with the whole plan. For more depth, raise the sandalwood to 3 drops; in a small room, cut the jasmine to 1.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
