Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Actually wanting to study is rare, so make the most of it. Three drops each of peppermint and lemon open icy and tart-fresh, two drops of basil add a spicy-sweet note, and one drop of pine leaves behind a fresh, resinous trail. Made for the study sessions you chose yourself, with nobody forcing you. Tackle the hardest subject first, while the motivation is still riding high.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
