Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Face down on the keyboard right after lunch? Four oils split almost evenly: peppermint and eucalyptus are icy and airy, cedarwood is clean and dry-woody, and tea tree is fresh and sharp. This blend leans a bit toward a forest spa, very alert. Great for a large office at 1 in the afternoon. In a small room, cut each oil to 2 drops; tea tree is quite strong, so you can reduce it to 1.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
