Blend recipes · Easy breathing

cool from the inside out

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2112

The coolness spreads slowly, from your nose down to your chest. Eucalyptus and peppermint stand side by side up top, tea tree adds a clean green note, and lemon closes fresh and bright like a glass of iced lemonade. Great for a sweltering noon at the office or a living room before the AC kicks in. Add 1 drop of lemon for a cheerier scent, or use 1 drop less peppermint if it feels a bit cold.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Eucalyptus 3 · Peppermint 3 · Tea Tree 2 · Lemon 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Eucalyptus 2 · Peppermint 2 · Tea Tree 1 · Lemon 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Eucalyptus 9 · Peppermint 9 · Tea Tree 6 · Lemon 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use cool from the inside out in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus 3 · Peppermint 3 · Tea Tree 2 · Lemon 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus?
Swap eucalyptus for rosemary or clary sage — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use cool from the inside out?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
