pine forest in my room

4 oils · Woody · code BL-2763

Close the door and the room turns into a forest. Pine leads with cool resin, cypress and juniper sit equally with green and dry needles, and cedarwood lines the base with warm wood. Good for the home office or bedroom on cold days when you want to breathe in the woods. Start the diffuser as you put on a babbling brook playlist; for more warmth, add 1 drop of cedarwood.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood); juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Pine 3 · Cypress 2 · Juniper 2 · Cedarwood 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Pine 2 · Cypress 1 · Juniper 1 · Cedarwood 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Pine 10 · Cypress 8 · Juniper 8 · Cedarwood 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use pine forest in my room in a diffuser?
Add Pine 3 · Cypress 2 · Juniper 2 · Cedarwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use pine forest in my room?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
