perfectionists need breaks too

4 oils · Floral · code BL-0189

No need to be perfect tonight. Roman chamomile leads with a sweet, gentle floral-tea note, while geranium, rose and ylang-ylang, one drop each, scatter a soft layer of green, rosy and yellow flowers. The scent is feminine and gentle, perfect for the bedroom or a vanity. Try letting the diffuser run without tidying the table or organizing anything at all.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); rose (deep, silky and luxurious); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Roman Chamomile 2 · Geranium 1 · Rose 1 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Roman Chamomile 12 · Geranium 6 · Rose 6 · Ylang Ylang 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use perfectionists need breaks too in a diffuser?
Add Roman Chamomile 2 · Geranium 1 · Rose 1 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Roman chamomile?
Swap Roman chamomile for lavender or jasmine — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use perfectionists need breaks too?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
