go soft, let go

3 oils · Floral · code BL-0310

Gentle is easy; when things get too tense, just let go. Geranium leads with fresh green rose, Roman chamomile softens it with apple tea, and one drop of ylang-ylang adds sweet yellow flowers. A light, pleasant floral scent, perfect for the living room or your desk in the afternoon. For more floral, raise ylang-ylang to 2 drops; for something softer, add more Roman chamomile.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Geranium 3 · Roman Chamomile 2 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Geranium 2 · Roman Chamomile 2 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Geranium 15 · Roman Chamomile 10 · Ylang Ylang 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use go soft, let go in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 3 · Roman Chamomile 2 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for lavender or rose — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use go soft, let go?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
