Thirty minutes offline: no email, no social media. Patchouli and lavender are evenly matched: damp earth after rain and clean purple flowers; eucalyptus and rosemary open a cool patch of sky above, like standing at the edge of a forest. Good for the bedroom or a meditation corner. The recipe is for a big room; a small room uses half, and set the diffuser timer for exactly 30 minutes.

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
