mom's back rub

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0575

Like mom rubbing your back when you were little. Three drops of lavender open with a familiar soft floral note, tea tree adds a clean green streak like the oil bottle kept in the family cabinet, and frankincense and Roman chamomile settle into warm resin and sweet apple. Perfect for windy evenings, curled up in a blanket. Run the diffuser in a small bedroom for about 20 minutes before bed.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use mom's back rub in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Tea Tree 2 · Frankincense 2 · Roman Chamomile 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use mom's back rub?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
