Midweek, and your mind feels stuck in traffic. Two drops of rosemary open with cool, slightly camphoraceous green leaf, lemon and sweet orange sprinkle in crisp peel and fresh citrus, and a single drop of pine adds green resin like a forest in the morning. Good for a study desk or workspace in the early afternoon. Five drops, neat and light; for a big room, double it and run the diffuser for about 20 minutes.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
