whole-house glow up

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-2470

The whole house suddenly feels fresher. Pine, lemon and sweet orange split it evenly at three drops each: resinous forest, bright citrus and sweet zest, a trio packed with energy. It works best in the living room or kitchen in the morning. Turn on the diffuser as you open the windows, brew the coffee and kick off a brand-new day.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Pine 3 · Lemon 3 · Sweet Orange 3 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Pine 2 · Lemon 2 · Sweet Orange 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Pine 10 · Lemon 10 · Sweet Orange 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use whole-house glow up in a diffuser?
Add Pine 3 · Lemon 3 · Sweet Orange 3 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use whole-house glow up?
Use it after cooking or cleaning, in the bathroom, near the shoe cabinet, or in rooms shared with pets.
