Blend recipes · Stress relief

it's okay, really

2 oils · Citrus · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0695

It's okay, really; this too shall pass. Only two oils, six drops each: bergamot, fresh and tangy with a faint bitterness from the peel; frankincense, deep and warm like a thin wisp of incense smoke. Two opposite notes that hold each other perfectly. Good for the living room or bedroom on nights you need comfort. A small room needs just three drops of each.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Frankincense 4 · Bergamot 4 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Frankincense 2 · Bergamot 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Frankincense 15 · Bergamot 15 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use it's okay, really in a diffuser?
Add Frankincense 4 · Bergamot 4 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of frankincense?
Swap frankincense for vanilla or myrrh — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: vanilla is creamy, sweet and cozy.
When is the best time to use it's okay, really?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
