Give yourself a hug after a long day. Rose and frankincense get five drops each, velvety petals resting on warm resin like open arms; bergamot adds clean, tangy citrus, and Roman chamomile sprinkles in a touch of honeyed apple. Lovely for the bedroom at night. Start the diffuser, wrap up in a blanket, and lie still for ten minutes before doing anything else.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Rose (deep, silky and luxurious); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
