happily homebound

5 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1349

Staying home and still having fun. Sweet orange leads, fresh and juicy; frankincense and lavender support the middle with warm resin and soft purple florals; and patchouli and clary sage, one drop each, settle at the bottom with earthy and herbal notes. The living room on days you don't want to go out is where it belongs. Tip: pair it with a good book and a light blanket, and you won't want to go anywhere at all.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use happily homebound in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 3 · Frankincense 2 · Lavender 1 · Patchouli 1 · Clary Sage 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use happily homebound?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
