freshly washed comforter

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0013

Four oils split evenly at six drops each give a scent that's both clean and warm, like a comforter straight out of the dryer. Sweet orange and lavender come first, fresh and pleasant; clary sage adds a slightly savory herbal note, then patchouli holds a warm, earthy base the longest. The drop count is fairly high, so it suits a big room; in a small room, just two drops of each is enough for the vibe.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use freshly washed comforter in a diffuser?
Add Patchouli 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Clary Sage 2 · Lavender 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of patchouli?
Swap patchouli for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use freshly washed comforter?
Run the diffuser for 20–30 minutes before bed with the door closed, then switch it off or set a timer when you get into bed.
