Blend recipes · Easy breathing

gasping for a breeze

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-2148

When the air feels suffocating, you need a truly airy scent. Lemon, eucalyptus radiata and lavender split evenly, bright, soft-cool and gentle, while a single drop of pine adds a hint of forest. Turn on the diffuser when you get home from work, along with the exhaust fan. If the room is very small, half the ratio is enough.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use gasping for a breeze in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 2 · Eucalyptus Radiata 2 · Lavender 2 · Pine 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use gasping for a breeze?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
