Friday night horizontal

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-0797

Friday night, going nowhere, just lying still. Three drops of lavender lay a soft floral base, sweet orange adds fresh citrus, ylang ylang sprinkles golden sweet florals, and a single drop of Roman chamomile brings apple-like sweetness. Made for the bedroom, a soft blanket, and lights off. Diffuse for 30 minutes and lie there listening to the rain or a slow podcast.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use Friday night horizontal in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 · Roman Chamomile 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or rose — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use Friday night horizontal?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
