Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Bergamot opens first with a tangy, slightly floral citrus note, more refined than regular orange. Peppermint and lemon join right after, making the air bright and cool, like splashing cold water on your face. This blend suits afternoons when you have to stare at a screen for a few more hours. Run the diffuser for about 20 minutes, then pause; bergamot lingers a long time in a small room. If it feels a bit sharp, cut the peppermint to 1 drop.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot and Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
