DIY afternoon

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-0196

Scissors, colored paper and glue spread all over the table. Lavender leads clean, Roman chamomile is soft like floral tea, and sweet orange adds a cheerful freshness to get your hands inspired. The scent is light and pleasant, perfect for a crafting table in the afternoon. Crack a window open and set the diffuser a little away from the table so the glue and paint smells don't mix with the essential oils.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 4 · Roman Chamomile 3 · Sweet Orange 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use DIY afternoon in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 4 · Roman Chamomile 3 · Sweet Orange 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use DIY afternoon?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
