crystal-clear cold

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-2722

Pine opens with fresh resin, cypress adds green needles, and lemon sprinkles a bright tartness like cold early-morning sun. A clear, clean and slightly chilly scent for the home office or living room on bright winter mornings. How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Pine 4 · Cypress 3 · Lemon 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Pine 2 · Cypress 2 · Lemon 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Pine 13 · Cypress 10 · Lemon 7 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use crystal-clear cold in a diffuser?
Add Pine 4 · Cypress 3 · Lemon 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use crystal-clear cold?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
