chairman-of-the-board calm

4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0381

Big chair, long view, slow decisions. Geranium leads with fresh green rose, lavender adds cleanness, frankincense lays down a warm resin base, and a single drop of cypress brings green wood. The scent is composed and grown-up, suited to a home office or a corner where you receive guests. A mini diffuser needs only 2, 1, 1, 1 drops; for a deeper scent, raise frankincense.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Geranium 4 · Lavender 3 · Frankincense 2 · Cypress 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Geranium 2 · Lavender 2 · Frankincense 1 · Cypress 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Geranium 12 · Lavender 9 · Frankincense 6 · Cypress 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use chairman-of-the-board calm in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 4 · Lavender 3 · Frankincense 2 · Cypress 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for ylang ylang or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: ylang ylang is rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral.
When is the best time to use chairman-of-the-board calm?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
