before I open the laptop

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0972

Before opening your laptop, take five minutes for yourself. Cedarwood and sandalwood, three drops each, lay a base of dry wood and creamy wood, rosemary adds a green note that sharpens your mind, and a single drop of lavender keeps things smooth. Place the diffuser right next to your keyboard and switch it on as soon as you sit down. If you need stronger focus, raise rosemary to three drops.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

FAQ

How do I use before I open the laptop in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 3 · Sandalwood 3 · Rosemary 2 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for patchouli or cypress — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: patchouli is like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet.
When is the best time to use before I open the laptop?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
