Mugwort (common, chrysanthenyl acetate CT)

Chrysanthenyl acetate is the main constituent, thujone lower than in the camphor/thujone CT.

Limited safety data. Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient research.

Recommended at low dermal concentrations.

Alternative chemotype of Artemisia vulgaris. Distributed in northern Europe and Scandinavia.

Family Asteraceae.

Safer than the camphor/thujone CT but still not recommended in pregnancy.
