Oxidation products of (+)-limonene may sensitize skin.

Store in dark, sealed, refrigerated container. Add an antioxidant to formulations.

Likely not hazardous in pregnancy based on (+)-limonene data.

Clementine oil has not been tested for phototoxicity. As a cold-pressed citrus, it likely has mild phototoxic potential, caution on sun-exposed skin.

Citrus clementina is a hybrid of mandarin and sweet orange, developed in Algeria around 1902 and named after Brother Clement, a French monk.

The oil is cold-pressed from the fruit peel. Limited production compared with mandarin and orange.
