Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

year-end desk stiffness

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-2798

End of the year, too many hours at the computer, and your neck and shoulders feel tight. Rosemary opens sharp and green, geranium follows with soft green rose, and sweet orange closes cheerful. A pleasant scent for stretching, a warm bath or a mid-day break. Run the diffuser during your lunch break along with a few shoulder rolls; for a gentler version, cut rosemary to 3 drops.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser

FAQ

How do I use year-end desk stiffness in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 3 · Geranium 3 · Sweet Orange 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use year-end desk stiffness?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
