winter glow up

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-2691

Vanilla leads sweet and warm, bergamot follows elegant and bright, and one drop of cypress adds green needles so the scent never gets too sweet. Good for the vanity or dressing room on winter mornings as you get ready for work. Run the diffuser during your skincare routine; for a brighter feel, add 1 drop of bergamot.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Vanilla 3 · Bergamot 2 · Cypress 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Vanilla 2 · Bergamot 2 · Cypress 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Vanilla 15 · Bergamot 10 · Cypress 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use winter glow up in a diffuser?
Add Vanilla 3 · Bergamot 2 · Cypress 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of vanilla?
Swap vanilla for frankincense or myrrh — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: frankincense is resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still.
When is the best time to use winter glow up?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
