Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
This is a bottle ratio with four oils split evenly at ten drops each. Lemon and bergamot open with a bright citrus wave, and eucalyptus and spearmint lay a cool, crystal-clear feel on top. An open office, a shop or a living room on a muggy midday are where it really shines. Use 6 drops per diffuser session; store the bottle somewhere cool and dark so the citrus doesn't fade too quickly.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon and Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
