tired legs after a long shift

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2142

On your feet the whole shift, you get home and just want to prop your legs up the wall. Lavender leads gently, while a drop of eucalyptus radiata and a drop of peppermint bring a light, cool, alert feel. Great for the bedroom after work, while you lie back and relax. Mix it with a carrier oil at a moderate ratio to massage your calves, or put it in a diffuser by the bed.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 3 · Eucalyptus Radiata 1 · Peppermint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Lavender 18 · Eucalyptus Radiata 6 · Peppermint 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use tired legs after a long shift in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Eucalyptus Radiata 1 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use tired legs after a long shift?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
