A tiny garden party, with jasmine as the host. Eight drops of sweet jasmine, four drops of bright, fresh lemon, two drops of warm, sweet vanilla, then one drop each of cedarwood and sandalwood to lay a woody base. A living room welcoming friends or a garden in the evening becomes a party. Jasmine is quite heady, so in a closed room cut it to 5 drops.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
