Racing a deadline is an art form too. Five drops of turmeric open with a warm, slightly spicy, earthy note like fresh turmeric root, three drops of rosemary add sharp green notes, and holy basil and bergamot, two drops each, bring pungent spiced herbs and fresh citrus. Great for afternoons when a deadline is breathing down your neck. If it feels too strong, reduce turmeric to three drops.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Turmeric (warm and earthy with a little spice); holy basil (warm and spicy with a clove-like edge) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Holy Basil can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
