Earl Grey with pink pepper and cypress leaves; alert but never sharp.
Reading ten pages straight without picking up your phone: black tea and bergamot like a cup of Earl Grey, pink pepper adding a bit of sparkle, and cypress bringing fresh green leaves, alert but never sharp. Great for a reading corner or a study desk at night. Let the diffuser run when you open your book, leave your phone in another room and count your pages.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); pink pepper (lightly spicy, sparkling and berry-like) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Black tea (steeped, warm and slightly malty); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
