temple at dawn

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0568

Early morning at a temple, mist still hanging, incense smoke drifting. Lavender and clary sage open with purple flowers blending with sweet herb, then frankincense and sandalwood settle into a deep, warm layer of resin and creamy wood, very still. This is a big batch, suited to a meditation corner or a family altar room. Use about 5 drops of the mix each time, switched on in the morning before the rest of the house wakes up.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use temple at dawn in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Clary Sage 2 · Frankincense 2 · Sandalwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use temple at dawn?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
