Cedarwood and patchouli go hand in hand for a deep, earthy, upscale wood scent, very different from the usual summer cool. One drop of sweet orange is enough to brighten things, like sunlight slipping through silk curtains. Great for the living room on summer nights, a moody-toned apartment or hosting close friends. Switch it on about 30 minutes before guests arrive so the woods spread evenly.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
