summer night on the porch

3 oils · Floral · Minty · code BL-0534

A summer night on the porch, crickets chirping, a breeze drifting through the flowering vines. Three drops of lavender open with cool, soothing purple flowers, Roman chamomile adds gentle sweet apple, and a single drop of spearmint breathes a candy-like sweet coolness. Good for a porch, balcony, or living room with the doors wide open. For extra coolness on muggy nights, add one drop of spearmint to the diffuser.

How it unfolds

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 3 · Roman Chamomile 2 · Spearmint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use summer night on the porch in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Roman Chamomile 2 · Spearmint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use summer night on the porch?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
